Abstract
Waxes (beeswax, ceresin, Cosmolloid 80, and Renaissance wax paste), acrylate copolymers (Paraloid B 72 and Primal AC 33), Wacker H and epoxy resin were used for preservation of surface of limestone. Renaissance wax paste, ceresin, Wacker H and paraloid B 72 show the best results during natural weathering. See also AATA 15-1609 and 21-938 for related work on stone weathering.
