Abstract
Petrological examination of ten sherds of Spiral ware excavated at Carthage indicated they belong to the standard Spiral ware type, that of shallow-footed bowl with colorless thin lead glaze, and interior decorative motif of spirals painted alternately in brown and green. They are Italian imports, which can be very roughly dated to between the 11th and 14th centuries. -- AATA
