Abstract
Antimicrobial textile products have been used widely for different purposes in our daily lives. For example, antimicrobial mattress pads are used to control odor and inhibit microbial growth; antimicrobial bandages are developed to control infection at wound sites; antimicrobial tents are used to prevent outdoor microorganism degradation. With the concerns of antimicrobial overuse, both FDA and EPA have put tight control over products that contain antimicrobial components especially for products claiming to have public health and medical benefits.
