Archival research of the <i>Ramo de Bienes Nacionales del Archivo General de la Nación, from February to June, 1978, in <i>legajos 1 to 250, has uncovered names and contracts of 16th, 17th, 18th, and 19th century artists and craftsmen. The report states that it is the first of several to come from these researchers. The names are listed alphabetically and by century, and a brief summary of the entry in the legal documents is included as well as the individual's profession. Some signatures are reproduced, but unfortunately the reproductions are very poor. -- AATA
