Abstract
A Roman shipwreck (A.D. 200) cargo of Phrygian <i>(Pavonazzetto), Synnadic (white), and Preconnosian marble partially excavated in 1908, 1909, 1915, and 1972, is examined. The author has compiled a catalogue of the recovered pieces which range from rough cut to almost finished, and discusses the possible transportation routes from the quarry sites in Turkey. -- AATA
