The report claims to be the first accumte survey of a flint mine. The investigation of the site included excavation, magnetometer and resistivity surveys of the soil, aerial photography and soil phosphate analyses (of which the first results of a much larger survey are presented). A few radiocarbon dates are included, on charcoal and antler picks used by the miners. -- AATA
