The conservation of the Yale papyrus collection is described. After drycleaning and removal of old adhesive repairs the pieces are matched for fibre pattern, then mounted between acrylic sheets using Filmoplast P to attach the pieces to the acrylic then sealing the edges with Filmoplast P. 90. The sandwich is then placed in acid-free open-ended envelopes and then in acid-free drop front boxes. B/W photographs and example of record card.
