Paul Klee himself frequently mounted his drawings onto a secondary support. Thus they should be kept together but either owners/framers have separated them or the condition of adhesive/paper requires conservation intervention. General observations on Klee's techniques are followed by the solutions found for the drawings Bauchtanz and Wachsendegras. B/W photographs and references.
