Abstract
The physical properties of textiles are affected by their moisture content. Textile fibers will try to equalize with their surrounding atmospheric or solvent relative humidity by either picking up or losing moisture. A textile with too little moisture will feel harsh and stiff. A textile with too much moisture feels limp and even damp. -- AATA
