Abstract
To assess the behavior of visitors, the museum uses radio frequency identification (RFID) to detect and record mobile information about visitors. The paper explains the application of RFID through analysis of mobile information about visitors viewing on an exhibition entitled Historical Treasures of Lishan Garden in Emperor Qinshihuang’s Mausoleum Site Museum. The feasibility of the RFID application model for research on visitor behavior in the museum was analyzed. The results suggest that RFID could be a powerful tool to analyze the visitor behavior in museums. The method is convenient, accurate and reliable.
