Abstract
Four detailed case histories are given of collaboration between a paper conservator and a painting conservator in treating paintings on paper. These were three oil paintings: a 19th-century painting by an unknown artist; Roma Fountain by Philip Guston (1971); Wooded Landscape by Henry Lewis (ca. 1860); and a painting in PVA emulsion tempera, KK II by Oyvind Fahlström (1963).
