Abstract
The restoration of an early nineteenth-century printery has yielded new insights in industrial archaeology, traditional building construction, and the history of preservation. Marist priests from France established a mission in New Zealand and constructed a pisé-de-terre (rammed earth) structure to house a printery, bindery, tannery and storehouse. -- CAL
