Abstract
This article pretend to stand out the role of the restorer Jose Renau Montoro in the conservation of many emblematic works of art of the valencian heritage. The announcement of the position of municipal artistic restorer, the justification of merits and the required knowledge, constitute a very interesting documentation for the valencian 20th century’s conservation and restoration history.
