Four pieces of tie zu of Tang Dynasty were carefully examined and studied for the exhibition need. Taking advantage of advanced Germany conservation methods and materials, a proper conservation plan of the four pieces was made and then carried out. After 11 preserving steps, the appearance of the tie zu has been improved.
