The unearthed stone plow from the Pinghu Zhuangqiaofen Relic site in Zhejiang province is a new prehistoric archaeological discovery, belonging to trace heritage. When it was excavated, its wooden component was water-saturated, dark-brown colored, seriously split, corroded in whole and fragile. Based on its conservation situation, a series of protection methods have been established (eg, dehydrated protection of wooden component, reinforcing execution of pedestal, stickup and reversion of wooden component, etc.) in the light of local environmental conditions in order to preserve the stone plow longer.
