This text sums up the examination of a Flemish painting of the 15th century, the triptych of Clemens VII, which was kept in the cathedral of Cagliari. These results will be useful for the painting's restoration, and also to establish the author, just about unknown outside Sardinia. The methods of analysis included infrared photography, reflectography, UV radiation, radiography, microchemical, physical, and quality of colors analysis. Analyses were carried out by E. DI.
