The dress was found in the course of investigations of a crypt. The restoration was preceded by testing of the material. Cleaning was performed in unstitched condition, first mechanically, later by emulsion of carbon tetrachloride; Evamin CC; distilled water in the proportion of 3:1:5. In the course of restoration, the material was lined with silk. (Editor's Note: Carbon tetrachloride is a toxic substance.)
