Abstract
In 1960, remains of Roman mural paintings of a building destroyed in the Markomannian-Quad wars (167 AD) were discovered in the Roman city of Brigetio, Szony. The material included the decoration of several rooms, including a larger one that was possible to reconstruct. Theme and figures of the mural painting are described, as well as theoretical problems of their restoration.
