Abstract
A prehistoric oven, characteristic of Late Neolithic Herpály culture, was taken out in situ for exhibition. The taking out of the 2.5-ton object was accomplished with the assistance of a case made of two-inch-thick planed board. The oven was transported to the Hungarian National Museum for further preservation and exhibition.
