Papers are generally used as chemical reagent supports such as urine test papers and antimicrobial disks for susceptibility test in clinical laboratory field. The dry clinical chemistry using papers is characterized by the simplicity and convenience in handling. The application of dry chemistry is expected, therefore, to increase further in the future. The outline of screening tests for urine and blood fluid components was described to show the possibility of the use of paper in this field with special stress on the urine test papers.
