The Color Names Dictionary, published by the Inter-Society Color Council and the National Bureau of Standards (revised 1976), lists and correlates colors from 14 systems in one section by name, and defines them by their ISCC-NBS designation. Two supplements are included: ISCC-NBS Centroid Color Charts, which serve as key for translating from one system to another; and essay explaining the principles on which the dictionary and the charts are based.
