Abstract
The use of saturated salt solutions for producing (in a small volume) a given relative humidity is a widely used simple technique, but in moving to another RH, it has not always been possible to find a compound that allows the establishment of RH values at acceptable fixed point intervals. The research undertaken was designed to fill this gap. 28 binary saturated aqueous solutions were investigated from 0 to 100 degrees C, and the relative humidity obtained ranged from about 3% to 98%. These data are tabulated. References.
