Robert Kulicke's polished, welded aluminum frame with plexiglass has been used for many traveling exhibits of New York's Museum of Modern Art. The sectional metal frame developed from this design. The simple Lucite box frame was developed for the Museum of Modern Art's photography department; it required no screws or wires for hanging. His reproductions, particularly Louis XV frames, are found in many U. S. museums. -- AATA
