Only diazo microfiche meets the requirements for relative permanence and durability under the conditions of real library use. The Law Library Microform Consortium distributes diazo microfiche; the master fiche on silver halide is stored under archival conditions in a secure atmosphere-controlled facility. Libraries for users cannot and should not expect to provide archival storage for their collections. -- AATA
