Abstract
Describes the methods of conserving pottery found in the chalcolithic necropolis near varna (bulgaria) including fired and gilded pots, vessels from various levels, from clayey soil, etc. Also describes the removal of these objects and their treatment, as well as the removal of a burial inventory and its transportation to the museum. The author maintains that pottery can best be conserved by beginning in the field, as soon as it is discovered.
