The Corrosion properties of titanium and some titanium alloys are reported. The data were obtained from the results of laboratory investigations and from reports of the behavior of titanium in service. Included are corrosion rates in various environments, a description of industrial and military corrosion experiences with titanium, and the results of fundamental studies of the corrosion and passivating processes on titanium.
