Abstract
Reviews the various types of rock art and identifies sites. Techniques as well as subject matter are described. Local pigments and brush materials are identified. Conservation of paintings up until the last 25 years had been a prescribed part of the aborigine ritual, and now rapid deterioration is evident at many sites. The rock art is endangered by weather, livestock, vandals, and greed.
