Abstract
A first-generation high-sensitivity 3-D spectrophotometer using an image intensifier and linear array detector has been developed that gives simultaneous online spectral and temperature information during the thermoluminescence (TL) glow curve run. The sensitivity is adequate for most archaeological and geological samples subjected to natural radiation doses. The wavelength resolution is better than 20 nm in a spectral range of 400 to 800 nm. The data obtained may be displayed in a number of modes including the usual isometric and contour representations or stored on floppy disk.
