Abstract
Description of conservation treatment carried out on the textiles of St. Anthony's grave. The saint's cowl, which served as the burial robe, was in a highly deteriorated state. The original grey colour of the wool-linen material had turned brown by oxidation. All parts of the fabric were flattened using distilled water, and dried into position. The silk material which had been wrapped around the coffin was washed and attached to a backing material.
