Abstract
Described is the second restoration of two metal objects. The difficulties encountered in the course of removing the thick plaster layer and cardboard that had been applied earlier are discussed. One millimeter thick copper bands were used with an adhesive for consolidation. The lacunae were filled with a thin layer of gypsum applied onto a fine copper net. The metal surface was treated with a 3% solution of benzotriazole. For finishing, hatching - widely used in the restoration of paintings - was applied in matching watercolor. Final protection coating was a 2% solution of Pantarol. See also AATA 21-490.
