Abstract
In order to investigate the most superficial layers of terrain at a depth of only a few meters, where archaeological structures and artifacts are generally found, alternating currents up to 10,000 Hz were used. In this article, examples are presented of measurements obtained in various localities of Sabina, at 50, 500, 5,000 and 10, 000 Hz, utilizing a fixed transmitting dipole and a mobile receiving dipole. Information on the following current electrode configurations is also included: electrode spread in two points A and B; two linear electrode spreads A and B; and ring electrode spread A with B in the center.
