Abstract
The rapid and reliable procedures for the chemical analysis of insect resistant or mothproofing agents used on wool are based on gas-liquid and high-performance liquid chromatography, which are routinely employed by laboratories for quality control. Methods used to analyze pyrethroids, such as Eulan SP, Mitin AL, and Perigen, are described. The preparation of standard solutions, sample extraction, and test conditions and calibration are noted.
