The questionnaire, a copy of which is printed here, was sent out to a group of conservators who had expressed interest in comparing light bleaching techniques. The questions cover: paper (color, type, condition), stains (location, color, comparative tonal value), method of light bleaching (solution; means -- immersed, floated, etc.; covering of tray), and exposure (sky color and condition).
