Abstract
Five Tibetan <i>thankas</i> were examined and treated at the National Research Laboratory for Conservation of Cultural Property, Lucknow. The <i>thankas</i> presented various preservation problems. The borders were either completely missing or were highly deteriorated. The presentation is on the technique of conservation used in each case.
