Abstract
Fabrics with a design created in the weave use the jacquard technique. These designs are made by changing the weave pattern to make the design stand out from the background using yarns of different color, twist, and/or size. The problems associated with cleaning these fabrics are often due to loose anchoring of warp and filling yarns. Methods of spotting, finishing, and dry cleaning procedures are explained. -- AATA
