Abstract
Describes the results of analysis of a few samples of old papers derived from books, manuscripts, and mounting boards. The fibrous raw materials, sizing, and loading composition were determined. The effect of diverse composition on physical and chemical properties is examined with a view to prolonging the life of paper and other objects made of it. -- AATA
