Abstract
Of all the common methods of examination, the enlarged image is generally considered to be one of the most useful. In many case the degree of enlargement limits the magnifications is necessarily restricted by a narrow field of view. Widening the field has proved difficult. Recently introduced microfiche techniques have enabled smaller images to be magnified maintaining high resolution. Described are methods of making wide field contact photomicrographs and the various ways they can be studied.
