Quanzhou Museum of Fijian – Taiwan relation history collects a number of wooden cultural relics. Because of the influence of the storage-rooms environment, these wooden culture relics had suffered from pests and woodworms. To prolong the life span of these wooden culture relics, methyl bromide fumigant was adopted as bactericide and pesticide, surface clearing and spraying insectofungicide. The results showed that the treatment adopted in this work is ideal for conserving wooden relics.
