The application of digital measures has become more and more important in social life along with the coming of IT era. Museums can’t develop without the application of IT. By analyzing and explaining the digitalization of museum collections, this thesis pointed out the digital information was in important resource of museums whose reasonable development and application are concerned with all aspect of museum operation. The future of museums lies in the scientific development, application and management of the digital resource of museum collections.
