Dayton's Neo-Classical Revival post office, after being vacant for a number of years, was saved from the wrecker's ball and sensitively recycled into office space and an exhibition gallery. The roofing was upgraded, the facade cleaned, important interior decorative and architectural elements restored, and suitable renovations made to bring the building up to code requirements and modern needs.
