In addition to cleaning, mounting, stabilization and technical analysis of textiles, the Center conducts state-of-the-collection surveys, which involves evaluation of storage and display environments of a facility, offering recommendations for improving in-house care when required. Attention also is given to better acquaint curators and collectors with textile conservation procedures.
