Abstract
Describes the state of deterioration and the treatment employed. Use of air abrasive and biological compress is discussed. A pidgeon repellent substance was removed. Temporary consolidation was performed before cleaning disaggregated parts. Deep impregnation under vacuum by the Balfour-Beatty process was used. Reattachment of detached stone parts is detailed. Use of stainless steel dowels is discussed.
