Abstract
Plaster samples, exposed to air with 15 PPM of SO<sub>2</sub> and periodic condensation, were compared to samples aged four years exposed to city air but protected from rain for the sulfate to sulfite ratio. Abrasion resistance, specific surface measurements show important differences. There is better agreement with leached artificially-aged samples.
