Abstract
Desalting by capillary rise and evaporation and by immersion are presented. Most chlorides are eliminated within 50 days of immersion, whereas it can take 800 days to obtain the same result by capillary rise. Measurement of chlorides in solution was obtained by conductivity or by a specific electrode.
