Abstract
Three boards belonging to nine icons of pskov and Novgorod school of painting of the 14th and 15th centuries in the collection of the Moscow State Museum of History, carved boards from the canopy over the Holy Door of the Svjatogorskij monastery (14th and 15th centuries) and the bars of the iconostasis of the cathedral of the Virgin's Nativity of the Feropontov monastery (15th century) were examined by the method of dendrochronological analysis. The basic construction elements of one 15th century Russian church (the Church of the Deposition of the Virgin's Robe at Borodavji of the Vologodskaja region) were also examined. As a result, the type of the material, the age of the wood used, and the date of the boards have been ascertained within a quarter of a century. A building phase chronology was obtained and a supposition about the date of the beginning of the buildings in 1485 was confirmed. -- AATA
