Abstract
Since crystalline extracts of pottery have a stronger thermoluminescence than clay matrices and are less affected by alpha radiation, a separation of particles of 125 to 90 mu size was used to determine the absolute age of 8 sherds; this absolute age agreed to within approximately 20% with the age determined from the archeological context. -- AATA
