Abstract
After a study of existing literature and discussions with Catherine Nicholson, Paper Conservator at the National Gallery of Art, Washington, DC, the author discusses the unique characteristics of the etching materials and techniques of Seghers as he believes they were used in this etching in the Rosenwald Collection of the National Gallery of Art.
