Appropriate precautions regarding packing material and mode of transportation are generally taken for travelling exhibitions. The most serious hazards occur between the unpacking and repacking stages. On-site workmen at the time of display set-up and the exhibition visitors permit unpredicted problems to develop; examples are cited.
