Abstract
The delta 13C composition was measured in bone collagen or tissue from humans living from 5200 B.C. to 1750 A.D. The results for the Eskimos were compared with those for Danish Mesolithic and Neolithic man. Mesolithic man lived on a predominantly seafood diet whereas Neolithic man depended on terrestrial sources of food. -- AATA
