Abstract
Large paintings can be lined on the floor on a panel of the proper size. Heating them from the top can best be accomplished with hot water which is poured into an open bag made from poly(vinyl chloride). The bag is held in place by a wooden frame and is kept hot by an immersion heater. Excess wax can be rolled out from under the warmed area through the water thus providing an advantage over rubber heating mats. -- AATA
